19 Feb Seehorn Rally Team Announces Expanded AMSOIL Partnership for 2019

Jeff Seehorn and Karen Jankowski announced today an expanded partnership between the Seehorn Rally Team and AMSOIL for the 2019 American Rally Association (ARA) season. The synthetic lubricants company will become the title sponsor for the team as they look to make it three for three championship wins this season.

The announcement comes as AMSOIL continues to expand its support of stage rally in the United States. An ARA contingency partner since the start of the 2018 rally season, AMSOIL is also presenting sponsor of the ARA National Rally Championship. As part of that partnership, AMSOIL expanded its Contingency Program for 2019 to include more teams and give away more of its products to up-and-coming teams.

Seehorn and Jankowski are the first back-to-back national class champions with the American Rally Association, having won the 2017 and 2018 titles. Last season, they scored five class wins out of six events, along with five top-three overall finishes on their way to finishing second in the overall championship.

The company’s advertising slogan is “The First in Synthetics®,” and in stage rally, like many other forms of motorsports, lubricants are key to a team’s success. With more than 45 years of backing champions in a variety of motorsports, the company focuses on experience to support racers in their championship efforts.

Alongside the new partnership, Seehorn Rally Team also announced their 2019 competition schedule. They will compete in the following five rounds of the ARA National Rally Championship Presented by AMSOIL: 100 Acre Wood Rally, Olympus Rally, Oregon Trail Rally, Idaho Rally International, and Muscatell Ojibwe Forests Rally.

Nothing is more grueling than rally racing, so it’s exciting for us to continue to test their superior products in all types of conditions. The first event of the season for the team will be 100 Acre Wood Rally, March 15-16, 2019 (https://www.100aw.org/). Taking place in the Ozark region of Missouri, the 100AW is one of the most challenging rallies of the season. A mix of fast, flowing and tricky roads where the weather conditions can be quite unsettled provides for a challenging event.
