28 Aug Season 7 of Subaru Launch Control Begins on Amazon Prime Video and YouTube
Season 7 of the award-winning Launch Control documentary series is here in a big way. Episodes 1 through 4 of the exciting new season are streaming now on the Subaru of America YouTube and, for the first time ever, on Amazon Prime Video.
On Launch Control, rally and rallycross fans get a behind the scenes look at Subaru’s racing efforts in the American Rally Association (ARA) and Americas Rallycross (ARX) season alongside a few special events the team is involved in. The team’s successes, struggles, and thoughts from some of America’s most stunning motorsports venues are all on display in amazing detail.
On this season, nearly everything is new for the Subaru team. A welcomed throwback to the traditional Subaru blue and gold rally branding comes with a new team name – Subaru Motorsports Motorsports USA. But that’s not the only throwback, defending US rally champions David Higgins and Craig Drew are joined by a legendary name in Subaru circles – Solberg. Oliver Solberg, 17 year old rally prodigy and son of the last man not named Sebastian to win a World Rally Championship title begins a huge step on his eventual path to world stage.

Episode 1: Rallying cry
It’s the dawn of the 2019 season at the 100 Acre Wood Rally. Subaru Motorsports USA returns in the iconic blue and gold with a new driver lineup. The Solberg name is synonymous with Subaru rallying, but this is the next generation facing off against the defending champion, David Higgins.
Episode 2: A Surprise Signing
Anticipation builds for Day 2 of the 100 Acre Wood Rally, and a surprise addition to the rallycross team brings a wealth of experience.
Episode 3: Turning a Corner
Higgins and Solberg face off again at the Olympus Rally in Washington, and the rallycross team conducts its final test before the season starts.
Episode 4: Moment of Truth
After years of trying to reach the podium, Subaru hopes their new rallycross car will carry them to top step at Mid-Ohio. But the weekend won’t be without it’s challenges.
