14 Jan Entry for 100 Acre Wood Rally is Now Open
Speedway, Indiana (January 14, 2019)
Registration for March’s 100 Acre Wood Rally is officially open to competitors. The regular entry period for Round 2 of the American Rally Association National Rally Championship Presented by AMSOIL will run for just over one month’s time, from January 14 – February 25.
From March 15-16 rally rally cars will descend on Salem, Potosi, and Steelville, Missouri for the twenty-fifth 100 Acre Wood Rally. A favorite for many drivers, the rally challenges competitors with it’s high speeds, water splashes, and the fan-favorite Cattle Guard Jump. There will be plenty of distance to enjoy the speed; this year’s event will feature 125 stage miles.
The roads of the 100AW vary from sweeping, well-groomed, mainlines to tight and twisty rough trails. Elevation changes abound, uphill climbs and fast descents give a great sensation of vertical G forces. The gravel racing surface provides competitors with a grippy racing surface too, perfect for the sustained speeds of the traditionally fast event.
Run concurrently with the 100 Acre Wood Rally will be the two-day regional event, Trespassers Wil Rally. New for 2019, Friday’s competition at the 100AW will also include Side-by-Sides. The 2019 Woozle Hunt SxS Rally will see the popular open wheel machines tackle 53 miles of competition stage road.
